Marc E. Grossman, MD, FACP is a board-certified dermatologist in private practice with offices in Manhattan and White Plains, New York.
Patients and peers alike cite Dr. Grossman’s acumen as an insightful, forward-looking clinician with a traditional, attentive style. After 30 years as a physician, his passion for medicine and his insistence on the highest standard of patient care remain as vigorous as ever. He enjoys a challenging, diverse caseload, treating international and local patients.
Dr. Grossman is also the founder and current Director of the Inpatient Dermatology Consultation Service at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, one of the first such cross-disciplinary consulting services in the country. Dr. Grossman also serves as a consulting dermatologist at White Plains Hospital and Burke Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Grossman is a widely published, internationally recognized authority in medical dermatology. His over 200 papers have appeared in The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, The New England Journal of Medicine, Archives of Dermatology, Lancet, The Journal of Pediatric Dermatology, The International Journal of Dermatology, among others. He has authored and co-authored several books including A Clinician’s Guide to Dermatological Differential Diagnosis. He further shares his expertise as Professor of Clinical Dermatology, Columbia University Medical Center.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Grossman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He did his internship and medical residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his dermatology training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Upon completion, Dr. Grossman was board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
